Environmental Protection Policy

Galenika a.d. Beograd places special emphasis on environmental protection and recognizes the impact of its business activities on the surrounding environment. With this policy, Galenika a.d. Beograd demonstrates a high level of responsibility and commitment to minimizing any potential negative impacts on the environment.

The Environmental Protection Policy is based on the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of an integrated environmental management system in compliance with the requirements of the ISO 14001:2015 standard in all of its processes. The senior management of the Engineering Functions and the Environmental Protection Department is committed to:

Operating in compliance with laws and regulations in the field of environmental protection;
Preventing pollution to minimize the impact on the environment and any potential accidents arising from waste management and pest control activities (DDD);
Continuously improving environmental performance by monitoring and controlling waste management processes and DDD activities;
Identifying and controlling risks that could negatively affect the environment, recognizing them as opportunities to improve the environmental management system;
Identifying and reviewing significant environmental aspects and objectives in order to minimize the negative impact of activities;
Preventing pollution by reducing, eliminating, and controlling emissions of harmful substances into the environment, saving resources and energy, reducing waste through recycling and reuse;
Raising employee awareness of the importance of environmental protection through continuous education, training, and professional development;
Preserving environmental aspects and achieving the planned goals;
Analyzing the opinions and suggestions of all stakeholders, ensuring effective communication with all interested parties, and taking appropriate measures to improve environmental protection;
Openness, collaboration, and informing all stakeholders.
