Galenika Wins DISRUPT Award for the G80 Project

On April 1, 2026, in Belgrade, Galenika received the DISRUPT Award for its project “G80 – The Formula That (Didn’t) Exist”, in recognition of its innovative approach to communication in the pharmaceutical industry. The project was developed by Fullhouse Ogilvy, with PR support provided by Chapter 4.

The G80 project was created to mark Galenika’s 80th anniversary, with the goal of presenting the company’s heritage to younger generations in a contemporary and engaging way. By combining historical insights with modern storytelling, the G80 campaign opened new opportunities for brand communication in the digital environment.

The creative concept behind the G80 campaign was based on a mockumentary format, blending archival materials with an original narrative and leveraging digital channels including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. This approach represents an example of contemporary brand communication within the pharmaceutical industry.

A key factor behind the campaign’s success was its two-phase communication strategy. During the initial phase, before it was revealed that Galenika was behind the project, the film generated 1.7 million views on YouTube, attracting significant organic audience interest. In the second phase, following the announcement that the campaign was a Galenika initiative, G80 reached an additional audience of more than 2 million views through communication on the company’s official social media channels.

These results confirm the success of the G80 project and its significant impact on digital communications, accompanied by a high level of positive audience sentiment.
