Two distinguished international recognitions: world and European awards for Galenika

Belgrade, February 10, 2026 – Pharmaceutical company Galenika has won two prestigious international awards for excellence in the field of health and the pharmaceutical industry. Galenika thereby additionally confirmed its long-term commitment to social responsibility, ethical communication and improvement of community health.
The awards aims to Galenika’s socially responsible project “Pantenol Pink October” aimed at raising women’s awareness of the importance of prevention in the fight against breast cancer. This project was implemented through intensive integrated communication, including the campaign “The most beautiful breasts you will see…are examined breasts”, as well as the strong support of more than two thousand pharmacies throughout Serbia, where citizens had the opportunity to be informed and educated about the importance of regular preventive examinations.

World recognition for communication with a purpose
Galenika received the title “World’s Best of the Best 2025″, PRO PR Globe Health Communication Achievement Awards, at the PR Forum in Rome, in recognition of exceptional communication and social contribution. This award represents an extremely important global recognition in the field of communications. The winners were decided by a jury composed of 76 communication experts from as many as six continents, who evaluated the projects according to clearly defined criteria – from strategic relevance and creativity, to social impact and sustainability.
Recognition of the European profession
The quality and importance of Galenika’s initiative was also confirmed by winning the European Excellence Award in the Health & Pharma category, one of the most prestigious awards in the field of communications in all of Europe. The award ceremony was held in December in Berlin, and Galenika is the second company from Serbia to win this award in the last 19 years. An eminent European jury recognized Galenika’s ‘’Pantenol Pink October’’ as the best project in its category, in competition with leading European and world companies.
Long-term commitment to the community
This Galenika’s project has been going on for six years, and is based on a clear connection between information, regular preventive examinations and early diagnosis, which directly affects the increase in the cure rate. In addition to raising awareness and communication activities, Galenika has so far donated more than sixty thousand euros to leading oncology and health institutions in Serbia, including the Institute of Oncology and Radiology of Serbia, Institute of Oncology of Vojvodina, Health Center Kladovo, Women’s Center “Milica” and General Hospital in Vrbas.
