Gastrex® CONTROL
Generic Name (INN): Pantoprazole

Gastrex® CONTROL contains the active substance pantoprazole, which blocks the “pump” that produces gastric acid. This action reduces the amount of stomach acid in your stomach.
Gastrex® CONTROL is used as a short-term therapy for the symptoms of reflux (heartburn, acid regurgitation) in adults.
Reflux is the backflow of acidic content from the stomach into the esophagus, which can lead to inflammation and pain in the esophagus. This may result in symptoms such as a painful burning sensation in the chest that can extend up to the throat (heartburn) and a sour taste in the mouth (acid regurgitation).

You may experience relief from acid reflux symptoms and heartburn after just one day of therapy with Gastrex® CONTROL, although this medication is not intended for immediate relief of symptoms. It may be necessary to take the tablets consecutively for 2 to 3 days to achieve symptom relief.
